Do you like English but find grammar difficult to understand? Is it boring, or do you have trouble remembering all the rules?
If your answer to any of these questions is “yes”, you are not alone—many students share this experience. Unfortunately, they struggle to excel in English, and often give up on trying to improve their grammar.
However, a good grasp of grammar is what gives you the ability to speak and write correctly. The Past and Present Series
The first game available in print is Present Simple VS Continuous/Progressive (PS VS PC), in both an English international and a German language edition.
It's the first in a 4-game series called Past and Present.
I started with Present Simple VS Present Continuous/Progressive because in my experience as a teacher this is where English grammar becomes difficult for most students.
When the English tenses split into two different aspects (simple & continuous), most students have a difficult time differentiating between the two, and knowing when and how to use them.
The Past and Present series includes the following English grammar topics:
- #1 PS VS PC
Present Simple VS Continuous - #2 PAS VS PAC
Past Simple VS Continuous - #3 PPS VS PPC
Present Perfect Simple VS Continuous - #4 PAPS VS PAPC
Past Perfect Simple VS Continuous
- ▧ SCATTERGON: an intense strategy game for 2-6 players
- ▨ CONTRAGON: a siege and defence game for 2 players, with a game style variation for teams of 2 or 3 players
- ▧ SOLOGON: an original solitaire game for learning alone
In a nutshell …
GRAMMARGON replaces traditional learning methods with fun, effective, and comprehensive grammar card games.
Happy Learning!
